Redd McGehee
Erin “Redd” McGehee brings over seven years of dedicated leadership experience within the non-profit sector, with a distinct focus on program development, human resources management, and the enhancement of community impact. Her expertise lies in identifying and implementing robust operational solutions that empower non-profits to fulfill their missions effectively.
As a native of Houston, Texas, Redd earned her Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2006. This academic background provided her with a solid foundation in resource management and strategic planning.
Redd's leadership journey includes an important tenure as the Director of Operations at Daycation, a prominent Houston-based non-profit youth development program. In this pivotal role, she oversaw and inspired a dedicated team of 95 employees. Through her meticulous and innovative strategies, Redd transformed Daycation from its modest-roots initiative into a dynamic and competitive summer program. Under her guidance, the organization experienced substantial growth in revenue and a remarkable increase in employee retention, a testament to her operational expertise and leadership acumen.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Redd is an ardent advocate for the arts, with a particular passion for theatre, opera, and ballet.
