Chance McClain
Chance McClain is a seasoned storyteller and media producer whose career spans more than two decades across radio, theater, music, television, and film. A U.S. Army veteran, Chance began his post-military journey in 1997 and quickly immersed himself in the entertainment world, serving as a sports radio program director before branching into the creative arts.
His eclectic path has included writing and producing an Off-Broadway musical, directing a feature-length internet musical, and crafting national television commercials. He even gained national recognition performing his original song on television before a live audience of millions. Through each endeavor, Chance has demonstrated a passion for compelling, emotionally resonant narratives.
In 2009, he founded Heritage Films, a documentary film company dedicated to preserving personal and family legacies. Inspired by a friend's request to document a father's story, Chance recognized the profound importance of capturing personal histories. Since then, he has produced over 800 personalized documentary films, often working with members of The Greatest Generation to ensure their voices endure for future generations.
Chance leads Heritage Films alongside his wife of more than 23 years, Kearstin McClain, building a team that shares his dedication to high-quality, meaningful storytelling. Based in Houston, Texas, Chance combines his creative instincts, technical expertise, and deep respect for family history to elevate every project. Whether behind the camera or in the editing room, he remains driven by a singular mission: to honor lives through film.
In every pursuit, Chance remains committed to weaving together creativity, legacy, and connection to create experiences that matter.
